William Sealy

William is a vice president of relationship management on SVB’s early-stage technology banking team in Austin, Texas. He and his team are responsible for partnering with private venture-backed companies in the enterprise software, consumer internet and frontier technology sectors.

William joined SVB in 2021 as a vice president on the credit solutions team, helping technology companies across Texas and the Southwest scale their businesses with credit options tailored specifically to the innovation economy. He later moved to a relationship management role to help companies navigate the evolving venture capital landscape.

William started his career in Houston at Comerica Bank as a member of their middle market and energy lending team, underwriting reserve-based loans for major upstream oil and gas producers. Later, he moved to San Francisco to join the bank's technology and life sciences group covering Silicon Valley, before eventually returning to Austin to join SVB and contribute to the local startup ecosystem.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baylor University, with a dual major in finance and management. A fifth-generation Texan, William enjoys all that the state has to offer. He is an active member in his pickleball club, Austin Young Men's Business League, and too many sports group chats.
