Hani Azzam

Hani is responsible for finding the most promising startup founders in the Boston area, convincing them to do their banking with SVB and then helping them with their early-stage capital strategy.

Previously, he was the director of Customer Experience at Freebird, a travel tech startup that Capital One acquired in 2020. He also worked as a product manager at Capital One after the acquisition.

Hani received his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Tufts University.

He also founded an organization called Viaka, a MENA-focused community for founders, investors and experts. He currently sits on the board of TechWadi, a non-profit building bridges between Silicon Valley and MENA to support the growth and rapid expansion of entrepreneurship.

He lives with his wife, Victoria, in Boston. He enjoys learning languages, traveling, wine, skiing, going out to eat and playing/watching soccer.
